Austin, Texas — Industry vet Molly Connolly has landed at AMD as Senior Business Development Manager, Global DCC Market – Professional Graphics.
Many of you might remember Connolly from her days at HP where she held many strategic roles at HP in business development and marketing, focusing on media and entertainment/DCC, virtualization, cloud solutions and strategic alliances with global system integrators and cloud ISVs.
At AMD (www.amd.com), her charter is to build strategic relationships with key AMD FirePro customers and evangelize AMD Pro Graphics products for digital content creation, across the DCC ecosystem. “In this role, I’ll be collaborating across the full spectrum of our AMD Product teams, our ISV, ISV resellers, MNC resellers, and the workstation integrator community to foster technology partnerships – aligning customer and partner needs to our mutual business goals.”
According to AMD’s Director, Global Sales & Business Development – Professional Graphics, Ed Caracappa, “Our commitment at AMD Professional Graphics is to grow our share in the Digital Content Creation market by delivering superior products and being the better company to work with. Our hiring of Molly Connolly is a testament to this commitment.”
Connolly is equally excited about her new role. “I am joining a team of industry professionals all focused on delivering the best graphics experience to our customers and partners. The AMD FirePro graphics just recently, in the SpecViewPerf 12 testing, demonstrated a fantastic leadership position. By combining this amazing performance with outstanding price and value we are poised to truly help our customers in all of the areas that mater. These are exciting times, and I feel very fortunate to be joining AMD and the Pro Graphics team.”
Connolly will be based out of Marshfield, MA.
