WHAT’S YOUR JOB TITLE? Director
WHAT DOES THAT ENTAIL? Depends on the project. Lately it’s writing the concept/treatment, securing financing, and executing and delivering the idea.
WHAT WOULD SURPRISE PEOPLE THE MOST ABOUT WHAT FALLS UNDER THAT TITLE?
Copying SxS cards in your hotel room late at night.
Also, there are times you never know where you will end up on a documentary. I keep a tiny powder kit in my backpack just in case we drop in on a subject and they agree to an interview. You’d be surprised at some the people that I’ve put makeup on.

Interviewing people on camera.
