New York City-based edit house Uppercut has brought on Stefanie Bassett as executive producer. Basset, who has over 10 years of experience in post, has collaborated with such agencies as McCann, Mother, McGarryBowen, 360i and Hill Holliday.
In her new role as EP at Uppercut, which also offers a full-scale visual effects department that handles everything from supervision and workflow to finishing and color correction, Bassett says she hopes “to build the next stage of Uppercut with positivity and strong leadership. Uppercut is an incredibly tight family, very dedicated to what they do and devoted to the directors, agency creatives and clients they work with. It’s a forward-thinking company, completely open to the evolution and change that is unfolding around us each and every day.”
Uppercut was founded by editor Micah Scarpelli.
